*This week’s greens (lettuce, collards, kale) may need rehydration by soaking in cold water
*You will notice some pinkish purple hues, sometimes even blue, on the collards – this is something that happens to brassicas in particular when they are exposed to cold temperatures
*Still salad fixings in mid December with the lettuce, napa, carrots, kale and kohlrabi
*The squash, potatoes, carrots, garlic and onions and the rosemary are wonderful roasted together in the oven
*Make some cole slaw with the cabbage, napa, kohlrabi, and carrots
*As this cold front moves in makes some soup with the potatoes, leeks, carrots, rosemary, onions and garlic
*Please return our boxes and pulp containers for reuse
