Farmer’s Notes
*We hope all of you are doing well during this extremely cold couple of weeks
*Use the dry beans to make some wonderfully hot comfort soup
*Onions, potatoes and garlic fried up was my Dad’s favorite
*The rosemary is already dried, so it can be kept on the kitchen counter to add to the soup or fried potatoes listed above … or to about any other thing you may be making
*Mini cabbages are cute and very tasty
*This is the last of the squashes – it has been difficult to keep them 100% blemish free
*The rutabaga can be roasted with many of the other vegetables, or boiled with potatoes for a creamy sweet mash
*The kohlrabi and daikon, like a carrot, can be peeled and eaten raw like a radish, or roasted or in soups
*Stay warm and try to be happy
