Farmer notes:
- We had a 16 degree night and then 3 inches of snow last week and some crops have some ‘tip burn’: lettuce, Napa, broccoli
- All of our field crops come in over the next week as Thanksgiving temperatures dip into the single digits
- The kohlrabi is fantastic – sweet and crisp sticks for snacking
- Make some kimchee, kraut or slaw
- This is the last of the apples and parsley
- Greens are mainly arugula and Russian red kale
- We enjoyed the wonderful fall weather this week harvesting the crops
