“Don’t let people pull you into their storm. Pull them into your peace.”
~ Pema Chödrön

Farmer notes:
- Yes it is a FLEX week
- Pickling cucumbers are the short, stout ones with a thinner skin and a drier flesh. They are also good for fresh eating
- Eggplant is wonderful sliced, oiled and grilled until golden brown – salt/pepper/butter/balsamic/parmesan
- Red kale can be roasted, sauteed or broken up into a salad
- Sourkraut is a great way to preserve cabbage for eating in a few weeks
- Sugarsnap peas can be eaten with or without the pod
- Our sweetcorn for next week is about 1/2 a crop because of the lack of rain
- Make sure to have someone pick up your box if you are out of town
- Better to grab/carry your box from the bottom and not just from the handles as the crops get heavier and with these hot and humid delivery days
- Have a great weekend and enjoy your produce
