- As I picked zucchini yesterday I was cognisant of all the factors that work together to bring food to our table: the expertise of the seed company, the hard work of our faithful interns, the total gifts of adequate rain and sunshine, the complexity of fertile soil, the partnership with our pollinators, our members who purchase the food. What a magical job I have!!

- We had difficulty getting all of the crops into the boxes this week – use some caution if you are carrying them (place one hand under the box)
- Spaghetti squash for full shares is what we got this wet year – at minimum they are a vehicle for butter and salt
- Fennel and dill are finished for the year
- Slicing tomatoes are finally in full swing
- Fall cucumbers and summer squash/zucchini are in their prime right now
