Finally, we begin our summer deliveries of the 2014 CSA season. Thanks a bunch for joining us for the next 18 weeks. I will bullet a few items that may help the season go smoothly:
- The delivery list of produce is posted on Monday evening each week on our website. This may assist with your shopping/meal menus.
- We reuse our waxed boxes and ice packs, so please leave them at your pick up spot or return them the following week. Break down boxes gently. ***See our video on Facebook.
- The white boxes are single shares, and the brown boxes are full shares!!!!
- We are always open to any of our members to visit the farm. Just give us a call or an email to let us know when you plan to arrive.
- Always wash all of your vegetables before eating them
- Our newsletter, with recipes and veggie of the week, should arrive in your inbox every Thursday morning. Please let us know if you, or your share partner, are not receiving them.
- Do not take a dozen eggs unless you have paid for an egg share
- You can access and add recipes by signing in on our recipe forum.
- Please have someone pick up your share if you are out of town.
- We attempt to post photos and updates on our face book page and website: http://earthdancefarm.net/
- Check out our calendar of events: http://earthdancefarm.net/calendar
- Keep in touch – let us know how the year is going.
My route in the Cities begins at Country Day around 9:30, to St Anthony Park, NE Mpls., Lowry Hills, Uptown, St Louis Park around 1: 30, Edina, SW Mpls, St. Paul from 3:30 – 4:30 and then Mendota Heights and Lakeville by 5.
Kimberly’s route starts in Spring Valley @1, then to Austin in mid aft., Rochester from 3:30-5 and ends in Chatfield. The first delivery is usually a bit hairy as we find our way, but hopefully all goes well.
I certainly hope to see many of you as I deliver the share boxes or get the chance to talk with you if you make it down to the farm. I really look forward to the year!
