Farmer Notes
*Welcome to March!
*A big THANK YOU for joining us for our Winter produce share
*Isn’t it wonderful to eat fresh local veggies all through a MN. winter!
*We will continue to offer ‘custom’ boxes on the 16th and the 30th of March
*Daikon and carrots are delicious with Napa for a fresh winter salad
*Popcorn seems to work best in an air popper. If you use the stovetop, coconut oil works best
*Dry beans are pinto – we shelled them for you this time
*Diane makes a baked potato and beet dish with rosemary that is super yummy – plenty of butter 🙂
*Turnips have some sprouts on them – you can use them as you would bean sprouts and add them into a salad or stir fry, or just compost them.
*Please continue to return our boxes for reuse
*We sincerely hope that all of you can join us for our Spring, Summer and Fall seasons
